These handcrafted AKM handguard sets are built for shooters who want authentic Soviet-style geometry with superior fit and finish. Made from premium Baltic Birch laminate wood (just like the originals) and finished by hand, these sets elevate the appearance and performance of any AKM-pattern rifle. Each set of furniture receives a beautiful shellac custom finish, just like the Russians were known for. These sets are just begging to be put on your folder or AK pistol!

Turnaround Time

Each set of furniture is made to order for us by one of our partner shops and is then sent to us to be custom finished. Each set receives a custom, hand brushed finish which requires ample time to cure/dry before it can be shipped. Due to this process and an unprecedented increase in orders, we ask that you allow up to 2.5+ months from the time that you place your order to take delivery of your custom finished set.

Fitting

As with most wood AK furniture, some fitting will be required. We include fitting instructions and tips with your shipping confirmation email. Please also feel free to request them at any time and we will send them to you via email. Thank you!

FAQ

Do I need special tools to install it?

No. Sandpaper or a wood file (rasp) and a bit of patience is all that may be required for the fitting process.

Is this made in the USA?

Yes. Each set is fully handcrafted and finished in the United States.

Which models will these sets fit?

These handguard sets are made for AKs with stamped receivers. Some examples of AKs that these sets will fit are as follows: Kalashnikov USA (KUSA) KP-9, KR-103, KR-9S, Pioneer Arms Hellpup, WASR-10 underfolder or Draco (full size) AK pistol, WBP Jack, Palmetto State Armory AK pistols, etc.

Note

These sets will NOT fit Yugo Zastava rifles or pistols.

Step 3 – Documentation Review

Submitted documentation is reviewed for compliance with California law. This review is handled securely and solely for legal verification purposes.

Step 4 – Approval & Shipment

Once approved, and the custom order has been completed, it will be released for shipment via UPS Adult Signature Required.
If documentation is not provided or does not meet legal requirements, the order cannot be shipped to California.

Step 5 – Refund if Not Approved

If compliance cannot be completed, the order will be canceled and refunded (less a 4% cancellation fee).
